On the 8th April 2010 Lürssen launched project J24. Her delivery is scheduled for summer 2010, ahead of schedule. The original 60 metre superyacht Phoenix was launched at Lürssen in 2004. Due to her success it led to her owner developing a new project with the same team which includes Andrew Winch Designs, Moran Yacht & Ship and the Lürssen shipyard. The resulting yacht is the eagerly awaited and recently launched Phoenix 2. read more …

On the 7th of April Feadship launched the third yacht in the exclusive and pioneering SL39 modular concept. The “Go” was christened at the Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw yard in Aalsmeer, Holland in March. She was ready for delivery in April, well in time for a new owner to take the helm and embark on its maiden season. read more …

On Tuesday the 30th March 2010 in Wieringerwerf, Holland, Jongert Shipyard launched the “MY Lucia-M”, a 39 metres motor yacht type 3900MY. Lucia-M is the first motor yacht of these dimensions ever built by Jongert. The motor yacht line has been developed by the yard at the specific request of several customers who appreciate the design of the Jongert sailing yachts but prefer a motor yacht. read more …

Heesen Yachts have just announced the launching of its largest displacement yacht to date: Hull number 14750, christened “Sky” – a 50 metre full-displacement motor yacht – from the shipyard in Oss in the presence of her owners. Sky is a fully customized 50 metre motor yacht of over 500GT (approx. 650GT), whose naval architecture has been conceived by Heesen’s in-house naval architects, while the exterior styling was drawn by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. read more …

On the 10th of March 2010 Azimuth Yachts announced in Dubai the order of four new yachts of over 30 metres and a design philosophy based entirely at the service of the megayacht owner. This would encompass a special tean of designers who provide services directly at the customer’s home, anywhere in the world. The program has thus been named: “Azimuth Grande”. read more …
