Bulgari, one of the global players in the luxury market for fashion accessories and hotel resorts, have recently launched new watch collections to their existing holographic line up – the “Sotirio Bulgari” and the “Sotirio Bulgari Complications”.
Bugari, having just celebrated its 125th Anniversary, have named the collection after the Greek founder of the company, Sotirios Voulgaris – Bulgari having been derived from his surname.
Both collections have the same sturdy and distinctive but nevertheless modern elegant casings. Where they differ is the design of the facings: the Sotirio Bulgari shows the date and the Sotirio Bulgari Complications, the weekday, the date and the month. The former also has an interesting visual connection with the watch strap construction. Both are exquisitely designed and constructed.
According to Bulgari:
“The sotirio Bulgari timepieces are the result of a distinctive and rigorous design approach that combines classic elegance with contemporary aesthetic. All the models are characterized by an innovative case, where the absence of the logo is paired by a unique construction, a very refined alternation of treatments and with the lugs directly integrated into the back case at converging angles”.
